EXPECTATIONS AND RESULTS

For most patients whom are considered good candidates, LASIK offers about a 99% chance of gaining normal or near normal vision without spectacles. However, it is impossible to guarantee perfect 20/20 vision with every procedure and it may be necessary to wear thin eyeglasses at certain times such as driving at night. It is important to understand that after LASIK one should not expect to see better without glasses than they currently see with eyeglasses or contact lenses.
